Who we are

About DentaIndex

We are the public data layer over dentistry in Moldova: what every procedure actually costs and who can be trusted, with evidence behind every claim.

Why we exist

In dental care the patient is structurally blind. Two clinics 400 metres apart quote 1,800 and 4,500 lei for the same root canal, and the patient has no way to know which is normal. Reviews are bought, farmed or deleted. A doctor who ruins work moves to another clinic and the record does not follow. The truth arrives after the drill, when the damage is expensive and often irreversible.

We do three things and refuse anything that would compromise them: we publish a price index built from verified receipts, we publish reviews that require proof of treatment, and we keep a public register of upheld complaints — where the clinic is notified before publication and gets a right of reply at equal weight.

The default we teach everyone: a clinic that is not on DentaIndex and not verified cannot be assumed safe. Absence is a signal.

What we do

How DentaIndex works

The seven principles

These are the product's constitution. Every feature is checkable against them.

  1. Truth over traffic

    We publish what can be proven and nothing else. If we cannot prove it, we do not print it — no matter how many clicks it would earn.

  2. Nothing on this platform is for sale

    Ratings, badges, rankings, positions, and review outcomes cannot be bought, at any price, by anyone. Advertising, when it exists, is labelled and lives outside rankings.

  3. Every review is earned, not typed

    A review is published only after we verify the person was actually treated there. No proof, no publication.

  4. Evidence beats opinion

    Complaints against a clinic or doctor are published only with documented proof — receipts, contracts, photographs, records. Emotion is heard; only evidence is published.

  5. The accused always gets a voice

    Any clinic or doctor named in a complaint is notified, given the evidence summary, and given the right to respond publicly before and after publication.

  6. Prices belong to patients

    What a procedure costs is public information. We collect it, verify it, and give it away free, forever.

  7. We correct ourselves in public

    When we get something wrong, we remove it, we say we removed it, and we say why. Our error log is public.

What verified means

Verification covers identity, location and price. It is not a judgement of clinical quality, and it is never a recommendation. A verified clinic can still have complaints upheld against it, and both appear on its page.

Verification covers

  • The clinic is a real, registered business at the address shown
  • The people listed as working there hold the licences claimed
  • The published price list is the one displayed at the clinic

Verification does NOT cover

  • The quality of clinical work
  • Whether any particular treatment will succeed
  • Any endorsement or recommendation by DentaIndex

Verification expires after 12 months.

Verifier program

Earn with us

Walk into a dental clinic, photograph what is already on public display, and get paid for it. An accepted mission is 100 lei and takes about twenty minutes.
